At every World Floorball Championship the media representatives vote for an All Star Team of the tournament. Both the A and B division got awarded after their final games. Here are the best players listed:
Expectations more than fulfilled! Everything was perfect: thrilling match, two outstanding teams, phenomenal atmosphere and a deserving winner.
The match, which decided upon the bronze medal of the A-Division took place between Switzerland and the Czech Republic. After a sensational comeback and with the help of a great audience it was Switzerland who won this important match.
In the final of the B-Division, Denmark met Hungary on the last day of this world cup. After a strong performance in this tournament it was Denmark who secured its place in A-Division in 2013.
In the end of the first period of the semi final happened one of the most discussed decision of the tournament. A goal was disallowed by the referees.
Germany’s opponent today was Poland for the second time in this tournament. At the beginning it looked like this is going to be the revenge after the host’s first loss on Tuesday. Leading the first period with 3:0 they finally lost 5:8.
